How to insert email into a joplin note together with its link to original source?
How to link gmail emails to joplin note, so as to be able to read notes while scrolling through my emails?

to my own regret, links to emails and vice versa are a difficult one. I would be happy if I could link from any content on my PC to emails in my email tool. But even in a fully Microsoft dominated workplace, I found no way to link to emails in Outlook. So, I’m not able to answer your question, but I am very curious for a positive answer, but I’m quite pessimistic about it.
Not your question but in case...
On THUNDERBIRD (PC) you have a very interesting plugin that allow very quickly to turn your email(s) into one or many pdf (one by one or a thousand at a time). It's really well done because you can choose the automatic name of the "email.pdf".
I use it all the time and put my emails.pdf into JOPLIN...
It's NOT a Virtual PDF printer (too long and not interesting naming).
