Linux Format 305 (Summer 2023) dedicates four pages to installing and using Joplin. It has phrases such as,
"... the note-taking app to rule them all" and,
"... but when it comes to delivering the best blend of features in a user-friendly interface, with flexible sync options and apps spanning all major mobile and desktop devices, nothing holds a candle to the mighty Joplin ...".
Unlike most articles it even mentions plugins! The author (Nick Peers) does say he is actually a Joplin user so that probably explains it!
