Can someone confirm whether all the above features exist in Joplin Cloud?

@passionate2023 joplin cloud is just a sync service with note publishing capabilities. When sharing a note you get a link to a website where the note is stored. It can do everything that a static webpage can.

Just to expand a bit on what @Wladefant has said.

Joplin is client based, not server based. Each client stores its own local copy of the note data. As a result a server or some kind of on-line account is not required for Joplin to function. Joplin Cloud, just like any other cloud service such as WebDAV, Nextcloud, OneDrive etc., is only used as a method of transferring note data between connected clients. It does however provide some additional features such a notebook sharing / collaboration and note "publishing".

1. Full text search

There is no webUI to access the notes on the Joplin Cloud Server. The existing webUI is minimal and admin only. As there is no access to the notes there is no search. If a user has End To End Encryption (E2EE) enabled any note data on the server is encrypted. E2EE means that the server has zero-knowledge of the note contents and could not search it even if it was an option.

2. Highlight and navigation of the search results

3. Sharing as read-only to any people to access around the world without allowing them to update or delete

You can use a Joplin client to "publish" a note using Joplin Cloud. The client generates a URL for that note on the server that the user can give to another. Browsing to this URL will show a static, read only copy of the "published" note. If E2EE is active the note data for this specific note is decrypted to allow this. You cannot publish an entire notebook but you can publish multiple notes separately.
