Joplin Cloud Credentials Are Invalid

What issue do you have?

I am attempting to setup Joplin on a new Android device (Boox Tablet ) and am running into the following problem:

  1. Installed Joplin app from Google Play. Success, no issues.
  2. Ensured Joplin App has all needed permissions.
  3. Entered username and password for Joplin Cloud.
  4. Accessed account successfully.
  5. Tapped Authorized. Got readback, "You have successfully authorized your application." Did this at least five times.
  6. Opened Joplin. Got credential error, as in title. 5+ attempts, same result.
  7. Uninstalled and reinstalled app. No change.
  8. Cleared data and cache. No success.
    I am at the end of my knowledge.
    All help would be appreciated.
