Is there a way to access my notes via the web?

Operating system

macOS

Joplin version

3.0.0

Sync target

Joplin Cloud

What issue do you have?

I've been using Joplin for over a year now, and currently, I use S3 object storage for syncing, which is very convenient. However, my biggest frustration is that when I need to check some notes temporarily on a public computer, I have to download the client and wait for the sync to complete, which is both inconvenient and unsafe. If I deploy the Joplin server (cloud) on my own cloud server, can I access my notes online via the web? It would be perfect if that's possible.

In theory, yes. Although you'll have to pay for that cloud server and maintain it. Keeping it secure too while it sits on the open web.

Joplin Cloud might be easier to use overall, and maybe cheaper.

I'm wondering what's the use case for this - if you just need quick temporary access to your notes, why not use your mobile phone?

I'm asking because I wonder if there's something we can improve to make things easier.

Ok but I'm asking @xk3728
