I love Joplin's E2EE support. Has anyone tried using Joplin as a file storage system?

Seems rather inefficient but doable. I have several note with information and things like receipts and pictures attached. THis just keeps the stuff together and the text of the note in an easily searchable format.
I use 7ZIP to create 7z files and put the files there. I keep a lot of them on my Cloud drive.
