iOS version broken?

Joplin latest version is unusable on my iPad mini 2 with latest iOS.

Any attempt in creating a new note or editing an existing note make Joplin freeze.

Anyone else got it working / not working?

Can you try the latest version on the app store? It has a fix for download resources though not sure if this is related to your bug.

Does it freeze permanently, or is it a small pause then it works?

Now it hangs on “Fetching resouces 1/1” and “Decrypting items 3/3”. While this is displayed Jopling is totally unresponsive and after a few more seconds it crashes completely and i get the iOS desktop.

Joplin v 10.0.36
iOS: 12.3.1

Could you try installing and reinstalling? I had this same problem with my installation. Did a reinstall and everything works fine now.

@eagle, does it keep crashing if you try again? Normally after two crashes on the same item it should skip that item (although I’m not sure this is actually working).

It would not stop freezing so I had to follow tha advice from @n00b12345 and reinstall.

Now it does not freeze anymore, but after sync was complete it constantly flash “Decrypting item 1/2”, “Decrypting item 2/2”. Never seems to finish decrypting…

… And my Android version never seems to finish “Decrypting items: 1/1”. It constantly flashes.

Windows version seems to be fine though.

If you check on the Encryption Config page, are there encrypted items on the device? Does the number encrypted items goes down?

Syncronise status says:

Decrypting items 1/1 / Decrypting items 2:2 (flashes repeatedly).

Encryption config page says:
Decrypted items 1302 / 1302

On Android
Syncronise status says:

Decrypting items 1/1 (flashes repeatedly).

On Windows 10:

No flashing going on…

Got it solved by activating Advanced options and then Status. There I could click on a button to manually decrypt the items.

Everything works fine again now.
