I set up the IOS app to only manually download images. I was able to click on images in the IOS app to download only when I needed to see the images, now clicking on the image download icon image in the notes does not seem to work in this latest version.

A fix has been merged, but is not yet released. For now, a potential workaround might be to switch the "Attachment download mode" sync setting from "manual" to "auto".
