I'm Dacheng from China. This is my last year studied at Hubei University. I am new to open source community and I am very excited to start contributing to Joplin.
I'm a full stack developer. For the front-end, I am familiar with Javascript, Vue, Electron. And I also have exprience in Java and SpringBoot. I've wrote a small emoji picker plugin for Joplin, hope it might be helpful.
I am intrested in develop a new plugin discovery system in GSoC 2022. Looking forward to disscus this idea with all you guys.

I'm not working on any bugs yet, but I have built a small plugin here. Is it a must to fix a bug before applying to GSoC?

that is currently in discussion but it could be helpful to work on an issue, as that goes deeper into Joplin's own codebase
