Introducing anjulalk

Hello everyone,

I’m Anjula, a third year CS undergrad at University of Colombo School of Computing, Sri Lanka. I’m interested in contributing to Joplin this summer for GSoC 2020. I’ve been using Joplin for quite a while now, and I’ve gotta say it’s a very useful software. I’m currently trying to fix some issues and get familiar with the code base.

My GitHub: https://github.com/anjulalk

Looking forward to contribute to Joplin!

Hey there, anjulalk. My name is Brandon. I’m one of the mentors here and I’m very sorry for missing your introduction. I hope things are well for you. If you have any questions, feel free to reply below. Thanks

Hey, thanks a lot for the reply! I’m currently preparing my proposal draft. I’ll submit it as soon as it’s ready for review. Apart from that I’m trying to fix some more issues in the meantime. I’ll be sure to ask any questions.

Thank you.

You’re quite welcome. Also, have you checked into the new guidelines and requirements for participating here? If not, they should be up on the GSoC Live Blog up top.

@anjulalk are you going to draft a proposal?

Sorry, I missed a couple of updates. I’ve read the thread before but I missed some of the latest updates. Thanks for the reminder.

Password-protected notes and OCR support seems to be interesting. I'm currently researching about them and reading related threads on the forum
I'm planning to choose one of them and start writing the proposal by tomorrow.

better you try this

I think it would be the best choice too! I don’t have previous experience on OCR anyway. I’ll try to come up with a proposal as early as possible.
Thanks a lot!
