What issue do you have?

Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is suppose to be like this or this is a bug so i put it here as a question. Today when i want to drag a notebook (folder) it does not show any indicator at all similar to when you drag a note inside a notebook. Even if i drag a note to another notebook it does not show its new locatio.
This makes for a poor user experience. Is this how its suppose to work?
If so can we then request for visual improvment for dragging notebooks around and also notes to another notebooks.
Similar to how onenote works. Even on my Android it feels clunky. I have to edit and select a new parent folder. Today drag&drop is very very common and i would say even expected.
Can we please have a more modern experience.

i don’t think this is necessarily a bug in terms of functionality. It’s more of UX limitation but a valid enhancement request. To improve this without overcomplicating the UI it will be good to adda few minimal enhancements like:

  1. highlighting the notebook under the cursor as a valid drop target
  2. showing a clear drop indicator such as a container highlight or insertion line to indicate exact placement
  3. providing visual confirmation after dropping

i think these are minimum necessary requirements to improve the user experience!

Yes exactly. And since this is already possible with the notes i don't believe this is big change (being a old developer myself :)).
And for sure this will make the user experience much nicer!
