Hello,
thank you very much for Joplin. I have migrated form Evernote succesfully and happily
One Feature I would like to see added is the ability to move note from one notebook to another. drag and drop on Desktop (Mac in my case) would be great.
would that be possible?
thank you
Benoit
it’s working on linux, did you ever try ?
This works on macOS. Just click the note and drag it to the new notebook.
which vesrion of macOS? I am on 10.13.6 and have tried several times
macOS 10.13.6 (post has to be 20 chars so ignore the text in brackets)
I mean left click the note....

Is there a way to "lift" a notebook back to the same level as parent notebooks?
E.g.
Before
Work
ClientA
...
ClientB
...
Personal
ProjectA
...
ProjectB
...
**ClientC**
After
**ClientC**
Work
ClientA
...
ClientB
...
Personal
ProjectA
...
ProjectB
(Apologies for the example, the action is the focus)
Currently the solution is to create a new notebook, then move all the notes across..

You can drag the notebook over the "NOTEBOOKS" header to drop a notebook on the top level.

Never mind—this didn't seem to work in the current Joplin version, but there was simply a delay before it displayed correctly. (Waiting for sync, maybe?) Thanks!

@Ander Moving between notebooks works for me. I use version 2.9.17 on a desktop (Mac). The latest version is 2.10, though, released earlier this week.
I came here to resolve this, though.
The solution by CalebJohn works for me too.
You can drag the notebook over the "NOTEBOOKS" header to drop a notebook on the top level.
