Hello, I'm looking at Joplin, Logseq, Obsidian, Roam, Tana and Atlassian (Trello and Jira).
I have some documents on Google Drive and I'm wondering if Joplin has an easy way to import all these Google Docs.
The Google Docs have an Index with H1-H6 and also Dates in format YYYYMMHHhhmm.
Also, my Google Docs file structure to find things is in folders like: House/Office/Network/WiFi/UAP-AC-HD/Knowledge base.doc
This helps me find info when I can't remember things, by navigating through the house where things might logically be.
However I appreciate Joplin and Logseq use the new bi-directional information management, so I'm trying to get my head around how I might find my information once it's imported from Google Drive?
In general, you need to convert your notes to HTML or Markdown. Both formats can be imported to Joplin.
The structure can be similar in Joplin. You can have nested notebooks like House/Office/Network/WiFi/UAP-AC-HD and in the last notebook a note Knowledge base.
Edit: Actually there is another option that I just tested: You can export via Google Takeout and use GitHub - marph91/jimmy: Convert your notes to Markdown for conversion to Markdown. Here are the instructions in case you want to try:
