What issue do you have?

I am currently using macOS sonoma 14.5 and I want to transfer all my entries from Day One over to Joplin app but it seems a bit difficult apparently they do not use same formats and I also want to know in some of my entries I also have photos attached. My plan is later on migrating away from macOS and over to Linux.

It looks like Day One can export to json. There is a script that might work for you.

If you can provide an example zip/json file (and it has a "processible" structure), I can add the import to Jimmy: A Joplin Import Tool. It might be more convenient to use than the script.

Actually, there are some example files available and I added support to Jimmy based on them. Feel free to try it out.

I have decided to continue using Day one because the tool is on github and I have absolutely no clue how to use github. I always found Github very confusing too me. So I always did a B line around github. Sorry but true
