If my iphone screen turns off, does Joplin keep syncing?

What issue do you have?

I'm always curious. If Joplin stops syncing after my iphone turns off the screen, which setting can I change to make Joplin keep syncing? Joplin on my iphone takes forever to sync (admittedly this is the first time I sync after installing on iphone).

It appears Joplin cannot sync when the screen is locked. I solved this by setting screen auto lock to 5 min (the longest in my settings) and turning the phone back on when it dims and finally it finished. Subsequent sync should take less time.
