Changes I made on my laptop are not reflected on my iphone. Why?

There's probably been a problem in initial sync on your iphone. Please note that Joplin doesn't support background sync at the moment. With that in mind, it's increasingly important to make first initial sync on mobile fully without interruption -- such as screen lock or moving Joplin into background.

So, I recommend reinstalling the app and sync fully to dropbox.

Once initial sync is complete, subsequent syncs are much less demanding.
