How can I import back the notes that came with Joplin without overwriting what I already have in there?
I need to see examples of the markup, or is there somewhere online where I can view it?
Additionally, there is no "add tag" on my toolbar:

It looks like you are on Windows? You could download Joplin Portable, run it and export the Welcome notebook from there?
"Click to add tags" should be at the bottom of your screen?
