I can't sort notes properly in Joplin

Whnever I try to drag and drop notes to the top, The main notes goes inside some other notes and becomes a sub note.

IDK if you got it.

Say I have these notes-:

Note_X-:
Note_X.1
Note_X.2
Note A-:

Now say I want to drag Note A to the top.

Also say that the sort order is not working in my case(It didn't work for me so).

If I move Note A-: by "dragging" then "dropping" above Note_X. It will end up like this-:

Note_X-:
Note_X.1
Note_X.2
Note _A(this became a subnote.)

Which I don't want. Any tips??

I have just tried to do the same thing with the desktop version of Joplin (mac osx), but cannot see or reproduce the problem. What is your configuration ?

I am using win 10.
MAIN NOTE-:
SUBNOTE1
SUBNOTE2
SUBNOTE3

Then how do I make SUBNOTE3 as a new MAIN NOTE1?

What I do is this, goto the menu bar, select
-> view -> sort notes by -> custom order
Once this is done I go to the notebook where this matters to me, in the notes list I drag and drop the "subnote3" or any other note into the position I want it to be.
