How to lower the line spacing?

What issue do you have?

Is there a way to lower the line spacing (after pressing enter) in the rich editor? The lines are far too apart and using a lot of unnecessary space for nothing.

You can use "shift + enter" to reduce it with a keyboard on a desktop (like Windows).
I don't know about mobile & I wish there was just a default setting which we could set.

Typographical Line Spacing

Joplin increases line spacing for various elements with margins and padding. You may want tighter spacing whether you use Markdown or Rich Text. Pressing Shift+Enter tightens Rich Text line spacing on desktop and mobile, but it can become cumbersome. I don't know about mobile & I wish there was just a default setting which we could set.

I tested Shift+Enter on mobile with a Rich Text note. It created a new line without spacing, as expected.

A toggle between new line and new paragraph for Enter could possibly resolve this issue.
