How to configure "Simple Backup"

What issue do you have?

I'm currently experimenting with Joplin.

I've been trying to activate "Simple Backup" - now known as "Backup".

In the Joplin default interface, I do the following:

Tools > Options > Plugins

In "Manage your plugins", I see:

Backup v1.4.0

So, at some point, I must have somehow installed "Backup" - possibly during a visit to Github.

How do I now set the "Backup" options for frequency, location, and so on?

Hi, Currently I'm running backups (on Linux) through rsync and backing up the entire "~/.config/joplin-desktop/" folder. But, as I am really paranoic with my data, and as I am also starting to use joplin in a "heavy" way, I would like to know your opinions, please, about this method: is this correct? I.e., supposing I need, in the future, to restore data, all I would have to do would be to "install" the Joplin's Appimage and to put the "joplin-desktop" folder in its correct place? Doing that …

Simple Backup: a way to run backups when Joplin is closed?

Hi there, I am using the great plugin Simple Backup, with automated tasks. But I found that the plugin does not runs the backups if Joplin is closed at the time. Someone knows a way to run those backups even witth Joplin closed? Is there some kind of CLI app or interface for that? Thanks in advance.
