What issue do you have?

Hi there,

I would like to open a Joplin note, probably through external URL➀, from Raindrop.io web app or Google Doc, how can I do that? Is there a way like a known prefix I can add it to external URL and so it will work? Looking forward to some supportive reply.

➀. example external URL:

joplin://x-callback-url/openNote?id=c1753363550c4dd294e5b22eb5a23c9c

I will add a few what I already know in this post.

I can open a Joplin note in a local thrid party app with the URL format as below, in my case, it is note section of MyLifeOrganized GTD app, and it is a click-to-open.

File: joplin://x-callback-url/openNote?id=c1753363550c4dd294e5b22eb5a23c9c

and I just noticed that if I copied and pasted the example URL to Edge browser URL, a pop up will appear ask me if I want to open a note as seen as below screenshot reference, but I personally will never do this in practice:

But if I copied and pasted the example URL in Raindrop.io, it is not a click-to-open format, but plain text, that means I can not just click on it and open a note.

Have you tried this app? 3rdparty Universal Web Link

No, I have not tried it, I will take a look at it. Thanks!

Oh, hey, I think it works, not the best of it➀ , but it works, I am digging deeper to it.

Thanks a lot.

Which is why I am not ready to set this thread with solution already
