What issue do you have?
I messed up Synchronize. I have 3 devices (Win10 PC [transitioning to] Debian PC and iPad iOS). I added a 4th device, iPhone, and I forgot my password. I didn't bother to check Manage password on my Debian machine. In short, I got some notes marked "Encrypted Message" on my iPhone and for some reason it tried to sync back some to OneDrive.
So I got all the Sync error messages on all iOS devices and my Debian machine. Exporting and deleting all notes and reimporting them back doesn't work. So I stopped sync on all devices and deleted all notes. I even went to Onedrive Live and tried to delete everything but they just keep coming back.
I was finally able to clean up my debian machine which now works perfectly. But not on the iOS. It's now asking about *.PNG files which I may have deleted in OneDrive and never came back.
My FIX which I need help/verification of correct action:
- I exported all notes from debian.
- Created new profile in both iOS devices. No sync. Imported all notes. No sync error messages.
- Question: Since these imported notes came from a perfectly working Joplin in Debian, I'm assuming it's clear and clean of any sync error previously in iOS. If I turn Synchornization ON, do you think this will work? Has anybody done it before?
Thanks.
