Hello joplin developers, I need your help with a few questions!
Every time I ran joplin, I had to wait a long time to open it. There is nothing wrong with my computer. Is this normal?
I have enabled encryption, End-to-end encryption, and set the Master password, but why does it not ask me to input the password when I open the software for synchronization on another computer? Does this encryption only work for the first data sync, or does it make you enter your password when you open joplin?
How long exactly? This is highly hardware-dependent, but in general yes, being an Electron application, Joplin does take a while to start. This may translate to a few seconds on a fast computer, and much, much longer if you try to use it on a low-end or old device.
Please be aware that the purpose of the encryption is to protect your data while it is being synced. The local copy (database, resources) isn't encrypted.
