Joplin 1.0.216 (prod, darwin)
Revision: 4eb680d (master)
macOS - Mojave
Steps to reproduce:
- Search for any note
- Attempt to delete the note
Expected result:
There should be a delete button somewhere for the note
Actual result:
You have to edit the note to get it to be at the top of the notes, then select the note, right click and delete
Right-click the note in the search result list and click Delete
.
Using command + G search, there's no way to click the note. What search result list are you talking about?
update: I guess I missed mentioning that I'm using command + G
I was talking about global search: Cmd + Shift + F
The Goto Anything...
is meant to switch to another note quickly. There’s no way to delete the note in that way and there are currently no plans to create a toolbar icon to delete a note.
But maybe this is something that can be added to the custom keyboard shortcuts list.
If selecting the note actually go the note selected in the list, then command + backspace would work to delete the note
update: it’s getting selected, but I think all that’s needed is to scroll to the right entry in the note list.
