Fatal error: Unknown key:spellChecker.languages

Note: the following has been reported at: "Sign in to GitHub · GitHub"

I have uninstall, reinstall, Uninstall and deleted all Joplin files both in Folders and in the registry. Then reinstalled again. The problem persists.
Please advise how to go forward.

I think you need to upgrade back to 2.9

Also see this thread. You need to remove the extra key that doesn't exist in 2.8 or just stick with 2.9.
