What issue do you have?
At first, I wasn't going to stick this here since I don't think it is very actionable. But maybe others have seen this behavior.
Joplin, randomly, and so very very rarely, will drive a spike through my computer's skull. And if not caught in time, it will quickly will halt the OS. Mind you, I never waited longer than 10 minutes or so to see if the OS would somehow unlock itself and kill the process, but it always seems like a full halt to me. Also, when it does this, the window doesn't necessarily open. Just this background process (and a ton of parallel processes).
Anyway. I have seen this happen here and there, but very very rarely, and I have no idea why. It seems like some edge-case meteor strike. If I catch it in time, I can kill the process (or restart the computer) and then I will attempt to restart Joplin. Usually this behavior will repeat a handful of times until … Joplin worked out whatever frustration it had and starts up just fine. And then it won't happen for another six months to a year.
Anyone see something like this before? Wacky stuff.
