I noticed that on my Android device I can set the "maximum number of simultaneous connections" from 1 to 20.
Since I am trying to optimize my webdav sync to a nextcloud server via GSM (usually taking over 100 secs with only a handful of changes), what exactly will change if I set this value to 1 or to 20?
Just my personal view (with no detailed knowledge of your setup, network, GSM coverage, etc.): set it to 1 !
If the network (chain) appears slow in your case, when Joplin tries to establish multiple threads (network connections) simultaneously this can only make matters worse.
Thanks for the feedback. I have tried several setting; the default '5', also '1' and '20'. Couldn't notice much difference, so I have in fact set it to 1, and it works OK.
I would still be curious, however, why this setting exists and under what circumstances which setting might be preferable; perhaps one of the developers can spare a minute ...
