Duplicated tags after import from JEX

I'm syncing with Dropbox.

The tags got duplicated after I imported everything from a JEX file and it synced in a wrong way afterwards.


I could not successfully sync my notes. After it finished syncing, about 100 notes were conflicted or missing. So I exported it from another computer and after an import, it started syncing again, but at the end all the tags got duplicated. It shouldn't be so. The notes were duplicated as well, but it was easier to fix, by just removing one of the duplicated notebooks.

UPDATE Jul 8, 2023: I resolved it using Python program, it was 471 tags and ran smoothly

And just a right click on second one of each of the duplicate tags (in the sidebar), then choose "remove" wouldn't solve that problem ? For up to 20+ tags this should be doable, with 200+ tags this will of course turn into a pinch.

I don't know how many exactly, I estimate it to 350 tags
