What issue do you have?
i need to remove thousands of duplicates from a failed previous import of Onenote. latest import is good but missing changes i made to the same notes from the previous import. my pan is to export ALL notes to MD format - find and remove the duplicates, modify the out of date items and re-import - will they keep the same attachments and be in the same folders if i do this? any other things to watch for? thanks.

You may not need to change the date as this is exported/imported too. Make sure you export as Markdown+FrontMatter.
Also you can use a new profile (File => Profile) to test the import before doing it on your real profile
Okay, so I hear you saying that export and import to MD+FM is a valid way to handle this situation.
Is that correct?
Why would I need a new profile if I'm importing a folder under a new folder name? that’s what i did with the updated onenote files and the only problem is the duplicates.
Once the duples are resolved i just need to do one more pass for dupes for the time i had everything exported, which will probably be a few, then kill everything and import all of it.
