I’ve downloaded what seems to be the official Discourse app on Android. When I entered discourse.joplinapp.org, it found the site and displayed it, but when I try to log in with my credentials, it just says “Unknown error”.
Anyone else tried the app? What’s your experience with it?
Are you signing in with github? I had issues with the github OAuth before. Maybe that’s the cause?
Nope, plain old forum-only creds.
I’m not sure there’s something we can do on our side as the forum is hosted by Discourse, with pretty much their default configuration.
You might want to ask about it on the official forum though https://meta.discourse.org/, at least to get some info on how to debug this error message. It may well be a bug in the Android app too.
