Hi,
just started testing Joplin mainly to synchronize activites/notes between desktop version and the mobile one.
The issue is that I find mobile Joplin limited vs desktop’s one. Creating notes’ have limited features, like making checkboxes for example. Desktop version have one-click option to make this kind of note, but in mobile wesrion of the app there is no such possibility. I can only use a markdown, which is a bit difficult and time consuming for usage on mobile phones.
Could you confirm, that the mobile version of the app is limited vs desktop in crreating notes, or I can configure somewhere (where?) the mobile version to see different mardowns already available.
Best,
J.
Ok. Replying to myself. I have found the partial solution in FAQ.
Would it be possible to implement a predefined markdowns in future versions of Joplin? I use 1.0.319 version.

Something like this?
Hi CalebJohn,
I think so. I am not sure, but would the markdowns be predefined in future versions? Like buttons visible in mobile app?
Best,
J.
Yes, soon you will have buttons in the mobile app that will insert markdown.
Hi CalebJohn,
thanks for reply. Frankly, I have found a middle way in a bit putting markdowns easier on mobile app. Swiftkey keyboard has its clipboard, where I have fixed the markdowns (even the table). They are pined for easier reach.
But, obviously the fixed markedowns in the application will be fantastic.
Now I have to resolve python and GK to Joplin migration.
Thanks again.
Be safe!
J.
