What issue do you have?

I set the sync target in Options to file /home/hch/JoplinSync. "hch" is the user an "JoplinSync" is the shared directory with my other Joplin installations. When pressing the Sync button in my other installations it would sync the data from this directory and show all the notes taken by other installations. In this installation an error pops up when pressing the sync button: "Error: Could not initialise synchroniser: Error: EACCES: permission denied, mkdir '/home/hch'. Path: /home/hch/JoplinSync"
In the file "log.txt" in the directory ".config/joplin-desktop/" gives further details.
How to solve this problem?

@Harald98 welcome to the forum.

You are getting permission errors. Your system is not allowing Joplin to write to /home/hch/

There may be other reasons but from looking at the log file the account being used is HCH (uppercase) whereas the sync path is being typed as hch (lowercase).

Thank you. No I can see the problem, I changed the sync path to HCH and
now ist works.

Herzliche Grüsse
Harald
