Anyone willing to make a plugin or help design a plugin for mobile that gives a calendar/daily note style view like obsidian?
There are a few plugins that allow creating daily notes and have a calendar on mobile:
Joplin Plugins - Daily Notes (very simple calendar dialog, one daily note per day)
Joplin Plugins - Calendar Notes (more focused on the calendar functionality, tracks multiple notes per day, etc...)
When I search for these from the iOS app I do not see either of these show up.
@bwat47 how did you install it on iOS?
On iOS there is a limitation where you're only allowed to install plugins that the joplin developers tag as recommended, due to Apple's App Store policies, from the help page:
To adhere to AppStore guidelines, the iOS app only allows installing recommended plugins.
Looking at the recommended plugins, I'm not seeing any that do daily notes or a calendar (as you had seen)
I think the only workaround for that is using the web app as a PWA instead of the native app
Ok thank you. I am self hosting my server at my house. Am I correct that I don't have access to the web app then?
You can always access the web app at https://app.joplincloud.com/, but IIRC it only allows you to synchronize with joplin cloud (the other sync methods are disabled)

Edit: one comment in that thread implied that the web app might be able to sync with joplin server (vs just joplin cloud), but I'm not sure if that's actually the case (it's not anything I've tried).

Just realized you were the creator of daily notes plugin. This is essentially what I would love on iOS.
