Bug in v3.6.11 for Windows

I am not sure where to report bugs and I am a first time user of this forum. I love Joplin.

Joplin for Windows notified me that there was a new version. I downloaded and installed it and I pretty quickly found what I consider to be a bug (departure from previous versions).

When I search inside a note and have multiple instances of that search item when I am clicking the downpointing arrow to go to the next instance and that instance isn't on the top part of the note, Joplin no longer scrolls down for me to see that next instance and I have to blindly scroll down to see that new instance. Previous versions would move the page so that I could see that next instance.

are you using the markdown editor, or the rich text editor?

there was a similar sounding regression in version 3.6 for the markdown editor, but its fixed in 3.6.11: Mobile: Inline search in the markdown editor does not scroll to the matched result (3.6 regression) · Issue #15116 · laurent22/joplin · GitHub

It does appear that there's a similar issue that exists with the desktop rich text editor though. In 3.6.11 this works fine for me in the markdown editor, but doesn't scroll to the search result in the rich text editor

Yes, Rich text editor. Good to know that mark down is a work around.
