The find feature in a note doesn't jump to the text anymore

What issue do you have?

When I search for text I know it's in the opened note, it doesn't jump to the text. The find doesn't show an error that it didn't find the text. It doesn't highlight it.
I tried different versions. It works on another computer. Is there a setting that controls this behavior?

Try updating to 3.6.12

There's no version 3.6.12! I tried 3.7.1
I have mentioned I have tried different versions and it works on a different computer. This means it's not a version issue. It's some setting it seems.

are you using the rich text editor?

If so, its this issue, which has a fix that was merged but didn't make it into 3.7.1 (probably next pre-release or release): Issue · GitHub

Yeah looks like this is the fix.
I clicked the toggle edit button and it didn't work in both cases.
When I clicked on Toggle Editor layout, the markdown option became an editor and it worked.
I think it was in a viewer only mode.
Something off was happening there
