Bug: Appindicator (tray icon) disappears after GNOME Restart

Reproduce:

  1. Install Joplin with whet bash script
  2. Set Tools / Application / Show tray icon to true
  3. Restart GNOME with Alt + F2 > r > Enter

Temporary Fix - re-enable Show tray icon
