What issue do you have?
Bonjour,
l'infobulle du bouton de soulignage indique "Insérer", au lieu de "Souligner".

I believe that the tooltip is technically correct ...
The Markdown interpreter used by Joplin uses the markdown code +++
to apply the <ins>
inserted html tag to the text and this is rendered by browsers as an underline. So even though it is being used for underlining it is actually applying the formatting for insert.
The use of insert to create an underline is shown on the Joplin help page.
Apparently the <u>
tag that was once used for underlining was deprecated in HTML4, but then repurposed in HTML5 to denote something else called "unarticulated annotations".
There does not appear to be a specific HTML tag for underline any more so I guess that that is why insert is used.
EDIT:
I am not suggesting that the tooltip should not be changed, just explaining why it says insert
Hi,
In fact, I think the "U" icon, stands for "Underline"
Samuel.
Yes it does, it is just that the button is actually using the insert formatting to make it happen.
I agree that it would make sense to change the tooltip to what the user is likely to expect, rather than what is correct.
