What issue do you have?

Is it safe to upgrade to 2.14.20?
I have a mix of Windows 7 (stuck on 2.11.11 as the last one supported), Android and Windows 10. Before I go ahead and update my Windows 10 machine to the latest version, is there any change that will break my ability to share files across all devices? I don't see anything in the What's New pages for 2.12, 2.13 or 2.14 mentioning that it won't.
Related to that, if in future an update is made that would break backwards compatibility, would it be highlighted really clearly in the What's New pages?

I would say that you should not upgrade. The profile version listed in Joplin 2.14.19 is 46 while yours is only 43. If you need to continue using Joplin in Windows 7, then the safest option is likely to stick to the very same old version everywhere.
