Can I use Joplin with 2BDs?
I really like Joplin and use it daily for my private purposes. I want to extend it now also by a shared DB for family purposes like family shopping lists.

Yes, but not at the same time.
You can use the argument --profile path/to/profile to use a different profile directory.
