When trying to delete a note on Linux desktop, I see this

I would LIKE to tell you the version number, but the text in the screenshot is ALL I get on the dialogs…
the “About” dialog is the same
(FWIW I just installed the ‘snap package’ today (6/13)

I’m on Manjaro 20.0.3 kernel version 5.6.16.1
Pamac says “Joplin 4eb680d6”

Hi @Nitemist welcome to the Joplin community!

The snap version is not officially supported. So either you contact the snap maintainer for support or you delete the snap package and install joplin with the following command in the terminal (see github site):

wget -O - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/laurent22/joplin/master/Joplin_install_and_update.sh | bash

i am pretty sure that this will fix your problem but if not the changes to get support in this forum are much higher than when using the snap package. Please use a more standard picture format (such as jpg or png) for posting screenshots. I even couldn’t open your screenshot with GIMP even though .xcf is according to Wikipedia the native GIMP format.
