What issue do you have?
When I focus the note list and press Alt + Left or Alt + Right, the note goes up in the note list panel.
My sorting is custom order -> updated date. The Alt+Left and Alt+Right shortcuts take me backward and forward in the history when focused the editor as expected. It's a weird behavior, the note always goes up and instead going back/forward in the history should happen not depending on what is currently focused.
