Userstyle.css not working

I'm not entirely sure how the portable version works. I downloaded it and opened the JoplinPortable.exe, it opened Joplin like usual, already having my note and css from the regular installed version loaded. But yes, when I started it through the JoplinPortable.exe the issue remained.

It shouldn't link to your original profile but more importantly it won't start a new joplin.exe (there can only be one (#Christopher Lambert))

Make sure you killed your "normal" process before starting the portable one. It will make a profile dir in the folder it is launched from if you need to edit the css files.

Just to make this 100% clear, you need to right-click on the Joplin icon in the system tray and close it there.

Thank you, you were right, I hadn't properly killed the previous process, my bad!

I tried it out again, and on the portable version it works! I'm not sure right now how I can fix the regular version with this information, though

This CSS can't work. You write "text" in the markdown, and "test" as class name in the CSS. Could you change one of them, so both class names are the same, please?

:woman_facepalming: Thank you so much. I guess after re-doing this line for so many attempts I finally got in a typo. It works now. I'm not sure why, though, as I've changed nothing except re-install it about three times and I know I didn't have the typo in previous times (since the CSS worked in the <style> tags of the note, not the element itself)...

Anyway, thank you a lot!
