I've decided to use Joplin as my note-taking application and now would like to subscribe to either Basic or Pro plan so wonder what is the upgrade path if I start with the Basic plan paid yearly and then want to upgrade to the Pro later?
Hello, there's no special upgrade path to go from Basic to Pro. You'd just click on Manage Subscription and change the plan. The subscription fee will then be updated at a pro rata.

I created yearly Basic account and noticed there is trial period, so I'm sure it will be enough to decide between Basic and Pro.
