Up-to-date terminal application?

I attempted to install the joplin terminal application in linux (Mint 22.2) and it seems it is extremely out of date. It appears it uses 21 deprecated packages including one that mentions it is “not supported and leaks memory. Do not use it.” (inflight@1.0.6)

Is there a new, updated version of the terminal application in the works?

$ NPM_CONFIG_PREFIX=~/.joplin-bin npm install -g joplin
sudo ln -s ~/.joplin-bin/bin/joplin /usr/local/bin/joplin

How’d you get Joplin under Mint? From the Debian or Ubuntu repos? That’s probably on those distros to update.

I use Void Linux myself, and rely upon the AppImage version from the main site.
