Unable to type whitespace while typing Korean

What issue do you have?

  • Debian 13 Pixie
  • Joplin 3.5.13 from Flathub

I cannot type whitespaces and tabs while using Korean input method (ibus). It used to work fine in previous versions (do not know the exact version) so I do not know how can address this issue. Any word of advice is highly appreciated.
