Toolbar icons for HTML markup?

I'm using the Quick HTML tag plugin to let me apply custom CSS styles to text. Unfortunately markdown is far too limited for technical science operations. CSS gives me the flexibility I need.

Is there a way for me to assign toolbar buttons to each custom style I've created? Also can I create a second toolbar or a floating toolbar? It would need to wrap an HTML tag around text.
