The sync target needs to be upgraded before Joplin can sync

Hi - I'm hoping to revive an old thread - I also see this error however the UI doesnt show any the sync target could not be upgraded error and also I dont see any exlusive lock errors either, it just seems to randomly prompt for needing a sync tartget upgrade.

My setup is using a webdav connection (I've disabled encryption for the time being thinking it was that) to pCloud - have attached an image of the sort of thing I'm seeing.

Could you please start a new support thread as it has a template with info that we need to know that helps us understand your system and this doesn't sound like the same issue either.

Although I noticed you said pcloud, there is a long history of pcloud not working due to a problem with their webdav implementation so they are not supported, see: FAQ | Joplin
