Synchronization Problem

  • Joplin version 2.8.8
  • If it is a sync issue, please let us know what you are syncing with.
  • This problem may be due to updating from Windows 10 to Windows 11, but cannot be certain.

My synch drive on on my Synology NAS. I have a desktop computer (working fine, recently upgraded to Win11), and a laptop. The laptop has worked fine for the past year, but is now giving a synch error:

Last error: Error: Error: EPERM operation not permitted, stat 'a:#recycle'. Path: a:

Drive a: is mapped on my laptop to the synch folder on the Synology. There is a #recycle folder in this a: drive, I don't know if this is something Joplin placed there or if this is a Windows11 thing, I just updated to Win11 last week and am still learning the pitfalls.

While tempted to delete the #recycle folder, I thought first to ask others how to best proceed.

Log file is (hopefully) attached.
