Suggestion re: note navigation for those using programmable mice

The back and forward buttons just below note title (as pictured below) . . .

. . . can be mapped to mouse buttons, which is very convenient for quickly navigating through note linked notes. These can also be accessed by keyboard: Go > Back / Forward. These are not assigned a shortcut by default, but easy enough to do via Tools > Options > Keyboard Shortcuts (search for Back and Forward).

hey, I’m trying to do that but when I click mouse back, it doesn’t register my key, it just stays with the old shortcut. Is there a known workaround?

While I have the same problem as you, maybe you could make a new post instead of reviving an unrelated one?
