I would like to suggest adding support for Markdown formatting to Joplin, using some formatter like prettier. It would be really helpful when working with some Markdown features like tables, where it gets hard to keep the source organized. Is it possible?
I think that would make a good plugin for Joplin!
But if you switch to WYSIWYG temporarily for working with tables and stuff you probably get the same benefit?
Yes I’ve added to my list of plugin ideas. It’s the kind of feature a bit too specialised to be part of core but which could definitely be done as a plugin.
Just want to add this: Currently, the WYSIWYG-editor does not format tables nicely (rather the opposite). See Short Cut Quick Format Tables
